Elections for the office of town supervisor (3 year term) and town supervisor (2 year term) will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Melrose Town Hall. Polls will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The election results will be canvassed March 14, 2017.
The annual meeting will commence at 8:15 p.m. on March 14, 2017.

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on March 17, 2017 at 8:45 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at St. Cloud, Minnesota, on a petition for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of decedent’s heirs, and for the appointment of Duane Wolbeck, whose address is 37302 Sherwood Road, Sauk Centre, MN 56378, as personal representative of the decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.
Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; to sell real and personal property; and to do all necessary acts for the decedent’s estate.
Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

1. THE BOARD OF AUDIT: The Board of Audit, for the Town of Oak, will meet on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 8 PM at the Oak Town Hall.

3. NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION TO QALIFIED VOTERS OF OAK TOWNSHIP: Polls will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 to elect on Supervisor for a three (3) year term and one Treasurer for a two (2) year term. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mechanical (ductwork, piping, plumbing), Temperature Controls, Fire Protection Sprinklers, Electrical (power, systems, lighting, fire alarm) and General Construction (structural, carpentry, cabinetry, concrete, ceilings, flooring, toilet partitions, finishes) bid packages as identified on the bid form.

BID TIME: Bids will be received on March 14, 2017 until 1:00 p.m., CST by the Superintendent, Tom Rich at the Melrose Schools District Offices in Melrose, MN and publicly opened following. All bids received after 1:00 p.m. will be returned unopened to the submitter. Email and facsimile bids will not be accepted. Mark outside of envelope: “Melrose High School and ALC – 2017 HVAC and Remodeling Improvements Bid Package.”
BID SECURITY: Each bid is required to be accompanied by the Responsible Contractor’s Affidavit and a Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid Amount submitted. Bid bond shall be payable to Melrose Schools ISD#740, as guarantee that Bidder will, if awarded, enter into a Contract in accordance with the Construction Documents and submitted Bid.
BID DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY: Electronic Bid Documents will be available after February 26, 2017 free of charge from the Program Manager by contacting Gary Lovitz with InGensa, Inc. at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copy printed documents will also be available for a fee from Franz Reprographics.
PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Sum.
OWNERS RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: Owner reserves the right to reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete, irregular, or to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bid received. Owner also reserves the right to reject or accept a bid within the Owner's judgement is in the Owner's best interests.
EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS: Bidders shall carefully examine the entire contents of the Contract Documents and Reference Documents prepared for the Work to become thoroughly familiar with all requirements.
EXAMINATION OF SITE: Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled for March 3rd, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. beginning at the Melrose High School Door #7 – 546 Fifth Avenue NE, Melrose, MN 56352. Bidders shall review the construction site to obtain first-hand knowledge of existing conditions, including existing utilities and services, obstacles which may be encountered and all other conditions relative to the Work to be performed. No unscheduled visits will be allowed by Melrose Schools.
Additional Compensation: Suppliers and Contractors shall not receive additional payment for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and Construction Documents.
