Melrose football

Despite good efforts by the Dutchmen defense, NLS was able to gain yardage on most plays.

Melrose fell 35-12 to NL-S the Section 6AAA playoffs. Melrose concludes its season with a 4-5 record. NL-S defense was solid, but Melrose hurt itself with turnovers.   The Dutchmen did have a 12-7 lead at half time on touchdowns by Cody Pundack and Caldin Rieland.   NL-S, however, had the better ground game rushing and scored four second half touchdowns.
